This position is available Monday through Friday. The technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving the use of radiopharmaceuticals to conduct body function studies, organ imaging, and analysis of biological specimens.
Key responsibilities include following physician instructions, preparing and operating equipment, positioning patients accurately, handling radiopharmaceuticals during receipt, storage, administration, and disposal, managing hazardous chemicals, and adhering to all hospital, state, and federal policies and regulations regarding radioactive materials and body fluids.
Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.
