Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Utah is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to support our diagnostic team. The role focuses on radionuclide procedures, dose calibration, and quality control within a safety-focused environment.

You will collaborate with physicians, participate in ongoing training, and ensure records and regulatory compliance for patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans.
• Assess, treat or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served: Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
• Assist physicians in the use of therapeutic radioisotopes under prescribed safety conditions and preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic purposes.
• Check assay of radionuclides received and calibrate doses to be given; verify equipment calibration daily.
• Maintain records of equipment calibration and radiation surveys, radionuclide receipt and use, storage and disposal of radioactive material in accordance with regulations.
• Keep abreast of new procedures, equipment and methods, and participate in evaluation and application.
• Participate in in-service training and instruct demonstrations of techniques and equipment.
