Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Georgia. You will perform nuclear medicine exams, prepare and position patients, and ensure quality diagnostic studies while adhering to department procedures.

You will operate imaging equipment, verify orders, maintain infection control, and support team members in a fast-paced environment. PRN with up to 40 hours per week; competitive hourly pay with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification is required upon hire.
• BLS certification - Instructor level is required or attainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates NM equipment and positions patients for procedures to ensure image quality.
• Verifies clinician orders and patient identity prior to procedures; follows preprocedural verification and Time Out processes.
• Maintains equipment, adheres to infection control, and supports other technologists as needed.
