Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologists perform diagnostic and research tests, preparing and administering radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals), and using imaging equipment to record images. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care. Unlock career possibilities with a team that cares like family.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing nuclear medicine procedures, including routine tests and therapies.
• Participating in Performance and Quality Improvement activities.
• Following policies, safety, and infection control guidelines.
• Adhering to regulatory standards from JCAHO, state, or other agencies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Two-year or four-year BA in Radiology Technology, plus training in Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent.
• Certification (ARRT NM) or eligibility, with certification within 9 months of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of start.
• Minimum one year hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Ability to accurately complete requisitions and operate equipment safely.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under stress.
