Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologists perform diagnostic and research tests by preparing and administering radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) and recording images with high-level imaging equipment. They collaborate with medical professionals to provide the best care. Unlock career possibilities by joining a team that cares like family.

What you will do in this role:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including routine tests and therapies.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and safety/infection control guidelines.
  • Comply with regulatory standards from JCAHO, state, and other agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Two-year or four-year Radiology Technology degree, plus training in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Certification (ARRT NM) or eligible with examination within 9 months of hire, or NMTB certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
  • Minimum one year hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Ability to accurately complete sonography requisitions and operate equipment safely.
  • Effective communication skills with patients and staff.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and perform duties regardless of patient condition.
