Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

Nuclear Medical Technologist

Join our committed Imaging Team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring careful, compassionate, and respectful patient care. Your role is vital to our patient-centered approach.

Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Using radioactive isotopes for organ and body scans.
  • Preparing radioactive isotopes for patient administration, including recording dosages.
  • Performing diagnostic studies with scanners or scintillation cameras to produce images.
  • Positioning patients and adjusting immobilization devices.
  • Explaining procedures compassionately and addressing patient concerns.
  • Monitoring, recording, and communicating via computerized documentation.
  • Assisting with patient transport as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Certification from AART (NM) and/or CNMT.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
