The community you’ll serve:

• Located north of Orlando in Altamonte Springs, our hospital is frequently named “Best Hospital” by local residents for overall quality, reputation, doctors, and nurses.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform radiographic imaging procedures independently, handle, prepare, calculate dosages, and administer radionuclides and interventional medications under the supervision of a radiologist or cardiologist. Responsibilities include maintaining records, assisting with procedures, patient transportation, positioning patients, and performing clerical duties within departmental standards. Adherence to compliance and safety regulations is essential.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Confirm patient identity and exam accuracy per guidelines before proceeding.

• Prepare radionuclides, explain procedures, and administer them aseptically.

• Ensure equipment meets quality standards and perform patient examinations using age-specific techniques.

• Assist with image review, manipulation, and additional imaging as needed.

• Provide patient care, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

• Demonstrate proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures, adapt to new technology, and contribute to team knowledge and competency.

The expertise and experience needed:

• Valid Florida license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• ARRT-N certification

• Current BLS certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher in health sciences or related field
