Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform complex imaging and non-imaging tests across all ages, with independent work responsibilities and a focus on patient care.

Required ARRT/NMTCB certification (or NMTCB), BLS, and completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program; strong knowledge of radiation safety and the ability to evaluate results for additional studies.

Qualifications

• ARRT (N), ARRT(R), or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - AHA Healthcare Provider required.
• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program.
• New hires must have AHA certification prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging and non-imaging tests on patients from neonatal to geriatric.
• Work independently with supervision available as needed.
• Evaluate results and determine need for additional studies while ensuring radiation safety.
