Overview:

The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in concert with Radiologists and Cardiologists to obtain high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care. The Lead Technologist coordinates staff coverage for Nuclear Medicine Departments across regional practices. They maintain current nuclear and lab certifications and spend approximately 95% of their time in direct patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year/Associate Degree preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years working as a Nuclear Medicine technologist required.
• Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB (RT(N) or CNMT), applicable state license, and IV Credentialed required.
• Additional Skills: Ability to complete validation and competency testing; good communication skills; working knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment.
