Singing River Pascagoula Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, while upholding radiation safety and quality standards. You will maintain supplies, support accreditation, and contribute to policy development in a busy radiology department.

Requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, Mississippi licensure, BCLS, and a health-field associate degree with nuclear radiology program completion.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in health field required.
  • Graduate of an approved Nuclear Radiology Technology Program required.
  • Must be licensed by ARRT or NMTCB.
  • Must be licensed by the Mississippi Department of Health.
  • BCLS certification required on hire or transfer.
  • De-escalation training completed by 90 days; must have appropriate level of de-escalation training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals with professional judgment and radiation protection principles.
  • Proficient in vascular access.
  • Operate equipment with concentration; maintain inventory and QC/QA of equipment and procedures.
  • Assist department in meeting accreditation standards and Health System objectives.
  • Contribute to development/revision of policies, procedures, and protocols.
