Job summary

Singing River Pascagoula Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, while upholding radiation safety and quality standards. You will maintain supplies, support accreditation, and contribute to policy development in a busy radiology department.

Requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, Mississippi licensure, BCLS, and a health-field associate degree with nuclear radiology program completion.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in health field required.
Graduate of an approved Nuclear Radiology Technology Program required.
Must be licensed by ARRT or NMTCB.
Must be licensed by the Mississippi Department of Health.
BCLS certification required on hire or transfer.
De-escalation training completed by 90 days; must have appropriate level of de-escalation training.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals with professional judgment and radiation protection principles.
Proficient in vascular access.
Operate equipment with concentration; maintain inventory and QC/QA of equipment and procedures.
Assist department in meeting accreditation standards and Health System objectives.
Contribute to development/revision of policies, procedures, and protocols.
