Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with radiopharmaceuticals, under supervision of the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Radiologist. Responsibilities include quality control and assisting with policy development.

Requires an Associate’s degree in a health field and graduation from an approved Nuclear Radiology Technology Program, plus ARRT NM or NMTCB certification and Mississippi licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a health field required.
• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Radiology Technology Program required.
• Licensed as ARRT NM, RT NM, or NMTCB; Mississippi licensure required.
• BCLS certification required; de-escalation training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality control of procedures and equipment.
• Assist in policy/procedure development and accreditation readiness.
• Ensure inventory and supply levels are adequate.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff under pressure.
