Job summary

The Nuclear Medicine technologist at Wellstar provides safe, age-appropriate care by performing department exams and preparing imaging studies. You will set up equipment, position patients, and ensure quality diagnostic results with independent judgment and initiative.

Eligible candidates have an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, one year of clinical experience, and ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification or instructor status.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and prepare patients for procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, accuracy of injections, and proper imaging positioning.
• Maintain infection control and equipment readiness per policy.
• Review studies and assist radiologists as needed.
