Job summary

Jefferson Health in the Philadelphia region is seeking a Nuclear Med Tech to operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, perform body imaging to aid radiologists, and prepare radiopharmaceuticals with strict safety standards.

The role requires completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine program and ARRT certification with BLS. The position is based at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington PA, with day shifts and full-time status, and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• ARRT and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
• Performs imaging of the body to aid Radiologists in diagnosis.
• Prepare and administer Radiopharmaceuticals with attention to quality and safety.
• Enter patient/exam data into the Radiology Information System and produce permanent records.
