Job summary
NYU Langone Hospitals invites a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FGP) to Rego Park to perform prescribed nuclear medicine procedures under supervision, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety. You will prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, acquire diagnostic images, and manage data within HIS/RIS/PACS, maintaining regulatory compliance.
The candidate should hold an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, NY license in nuclear medicine, ARRT-N or NMTCB certification, and
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology.
- NY license in nuclear medicine required.
- ARRT-NM or NMTCB certification required.
- NYS Nuclear Medicine Tech license required.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Perform medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and obtain consent as needed.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and acquire images per protocols.
- Monitor patients and manage adverse reactions during procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure data is properly archived in PACS.
