Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure radiation safety in a patient‑centered environment. The role includes daily clerical duties using EPIC and PACS, with on‑call requirements and weekend shifts as needed.

Required are ARRT(N) and/or CNMT, NJ State Licensure, and BLS within 60 days. A graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT(N) and/or CNMT Registry; NJ State License.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Performs radionuclide procedures for organ imaging and therapy under physician direction.
• Selects and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Maintains radiation safety and proper record-keeping for radioisotopes.
• Delivers radiopharmaceuticals and prepares tracer compounds for patient use.
• Performs daily QA and uses EPIC, PACS, and related systems.
• On-call, weekend, and holiday shift coverage as needed.
