Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform specialized imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. You will operate imaging equipment, monitor patients, and ensure radiation safety with a focus on compassionate care.

This per diem, entry-level role requires an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program graduate, Ohio licensure, and ARRT-N/NMTCB certification upon hire where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program; ARRT registration preferred?

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine patient exams accurately, timely and safely.
• Maintains Quality Control on Nuclear Equipment.
• Maintains compliance with State and Federal agencies; follows safety guidelines.
• Ensures proper billing codes are entered in RIS and patient sheets.
• Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Collaborates with staff to complete assignments professionally.
• Delivers age-appropriate patient care from neonates to geriatrics.
