Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform procedures and produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

You will prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and ensure radiation safety while documenting results in the EMR and PACS. The role supports PET services as needed and requires CNMT or ARRT(N) certification, with a sign-on bonus possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program.
• 1–3 years experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required; IEMA-DNS accreditation if Illinois working.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment and optimize data acquisition parameters.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals with correct isotope and dose.
• Document results and ensure proper records in EMR and PACS.
