Education requirements include a Nuclear Medicine program graduate with clinical hours. Certification or registry eligibility is expected, with BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with required clinical hours.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification; registry eligible with timeline.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software to acquire diagnostic images.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality imaging standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
