Job summary

AdventHealth in DeLand, FL seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures with emphasis on safety and quality. You will collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient care continuity.

Requirements include ARRT or CNMT, BLS, and familiarity with Cerner, Radworks, and PACS. This role supports patient care across adult to geriatric populations within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human physiology is required.
• Knowledge of Scintigraphic equipment, Acquisition computers, and processing stations.
• Knowledge of Hot Lab equipment.
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment meets all quality control requirements and performs patient examinations utilizing age-specific care techniques in a safe and responsible manner.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
• Maintains room readiness by keeping the room neat, supplies stocked, and equipment prepared for the next patient.
• Plans and manages time to accurately perform and enter all required quality control, patient radionuclide administration data, and exam charges.
