Job summary

AdventHealth in DeLand, Florida is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform patient examinations using age-appropriate imaging techniques and advanced camera acquisition. You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure safe, accurate results and maintain quality control across equipment and procedures.

The role requires knowledge of nuclear medicine workflows, radiation safety, and effective patient communication.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• RT(N) or CNMT certification required
• Ability to collaborate with radiologists and care teams
• Knowledge of hot lab equipment and nuclear medicine workflows

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment meets quality control and performs patient examinations safely.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and processing.
• Maintains room readiness and documents malfunctions or supplies.
• Documents quality control, radionuclide administration data, and exam charges in the system.
