Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to join our team on a PRN basis, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week. You will perform exams, ensure patient safety, and contribute to high-quality imaging and patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an Associates in Radiologic Technology, with at least one year of clinical experience; nuclear medicine experience is preferred and ARRT/Nuclear Tech certification is expected at hire.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with patients.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality for each study.
• Verify patient identity and clinical history before procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals following protocols.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely PACS submission.
• Provide patient care with clear explanations and AIDET principles.
• Restock supplies and maintain department cleanliness.
• Take call and support team as needed.
