Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine to complex radionuclide imaging, following Radiologist protocols and safety standards. You will educate patients, collect histories, enter data, and review images for quality and accuracy.

Flexibility to work across locations is required. The role requires NMTCB or ARRT certification, BART or BLS at hire with commitment to obtain BART, and graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.

Qualifications

• PACS and RIS knowledge for radiology workflows.
• Recent hospital experience or recent grad in Nuclear Medicine technology program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radionuclide imaging and nuclear medicine procedures per guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients; verify data; communicate results to Radiologist; ensure image quality.
