Job summary

John Muir Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare patients for procedures and perform all nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and timeliness under physician orders. The role requires completion of Nuclear Medicine Technology and BLS, CNMT certification, and California state licensure.

Hours include weekends/holidays with on-call requirements in a variable shift. Shifts: 3 days/week, 8 hours/day; pay range reflects hourly compensation in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Completion of Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
• Experience in Medical Imaging - Nuclear Medicine is preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Certifications: CNMT is required; CTNM California license; NMTCB/ARRT CT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures and assists during procedures.
• Conducts nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and timeliness.
• Adheres to department protocols and orders for diagnostic interpretation.
