AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a broad range of procedures, ensure quality control, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver safe, precise imaging.

This role requires expertise in camera acquisition, patient care, and adherence to ALARA principles. Strong communication and multitasking are essential in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human physiology and nuclear medicine processes.
• Knowledge of scintigraphic equipment and processing stations.
• Knowledge of Hot Lab equipment and radiation safety.
• Ability to learn new tasks related to image quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Multitasking with strong organizational and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and data processing.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and care continuity.
• Prepare radionuclide procedures and aseptically administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintain room readiness and manage equipment and supply inventory.
• Enter data into Nuclear Medicine Information System and Order Communication System accurately.
