UAB Medical West Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate results to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating conditions. The role emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and strict adherence to radiation protocols, while maintaining equipment and documenting procedures.

Mansioni

• Assist physicians during exams and obtain nuclear images for interpretation.
• Maintain high professionalism in patient interactions.
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including SPECT scans with safety protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment for safe operation.
