Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers and documents diagnostic doses of radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
• Assists physicians and operates nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic images and measurements.
• Verifies patient identity and prepares for procedures; explains the process to patients and families.
• Maintains self-study to stay current with techniques and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Adheres to department radiation safety practices and ensures accurate dose documentation.
