$32.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

On-Call: Rotating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT, PET, bone scans, cardiac studies, and more
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and safety protocols
• Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and other imaging equipment
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain accurate dose records
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other health professionals to interpret and report imaging results
• Maintain inventory of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging supplies

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
• Certification/Licensure:
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
• State licensure or eligibility as required by Illinois
• Experience: 1+ year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage on‑call duties and respond promptly to urgent procedures
