Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides healthcare services using radionuclides for diagnosis or treatment. Performs nuclear medicine procedures, produces images, exercises professional judgment, and maintains ethical conduct. Provides patient care and recognizes conditions essential for procedure success.

  • Administer prescribed radioactive materials.
  • Collect and document data from radiation emitted by tissues.
  • Perform quality control on equipment and materials.
  • Perform duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Associate Degree
  • Graduate from AMA-approved Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program or equivalent
  • Preferred: 1-2 years in an acute care setting
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification required within 90 days of hire
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist (Texas)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date
