Qualifications

  • Current NMTCB and/or AART(N) licensure is mandatory.
  • Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Job description

110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus

Relocation Assistance Available

Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. Responsible for delivering quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput and exam performance. Operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. Performs PET, Nuclear Medicine, and CT diagnostic studies on PET / CT scanners, including contrast media injections, image acquisition, and reformatting. Also responsible for scans and procedures necessary for scanner qualification in research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision.

Required Qualifications :

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system
  • Ability to maintain an appropriate work pace
  • Customer service skills suitable for the role
  • Knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to provide on-call / callback services as needed
  • Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT
  • Necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities for the role
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active NMTCB and / or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine

Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least one year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures
  • Knowledge of university and medical center policies, procedures, and organizational structure
