Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. This role includes providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput, and performing exams. Operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment such as gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. Performs PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including contrast media injection, image acquisition, and reformatting. Responsible for scans and procedures to support research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision. Must work on-call as needed.
