Qualifications

• At least one year of full-time experience as a CNMT.
• Current BLS certification and active State of California CNMT License.
• Active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine.

Job description

110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus

Relocation Assistance Available

Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. This role includes providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput, and performing exams. Operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment such as gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. Performs PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including contrast media injection, image acquisition, and reformatting. Responsible for scans and procedures to support research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision. Must work on-call as needed.

Required Qualifications :

1. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
2. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
3. Customer service skills appropriate to the role
4. Knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
5. Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
6. Effective communication skills in English
7. Availability for on-call / call-back service
8. Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT
9. Essential skills and knowledge for the duties
10. Current BLS certification
11. Active State of California CNMT License
12. Active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine

Preferred Qualifications :

1. At least 1 year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures
2. Knowledge of university and medical center policies, procedures, and organizational structure

Salary : $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
