Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA, is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This 100% outpatient role features a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 am–5:00 pm) with no after-hours call and an average of 15–21 patients per day.

Epic EMR is used for documentation, with emphasis on comprehensive care and prenatal services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as NP/PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of obstetrics experience preferred.
• Experience with the Epic EMR system is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
