Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This 100% outpatient role features a base salary range of $126,000 to $158,000 with incentives and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred, and applicants should hold California NP or PA licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA
• 3+ years of experience preferred
• 1+ year of obstetrics experience strongly preferred
• Current, active NP or PA licensure in California

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
