Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks a Women’s Health NP or PA to join our outpatient Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine team. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, no after-hours call, and care for OB patients, prenatal care, contraception implants, and lab/test interpretation with Epic EMR experience preferred.

Base salary ranges from $126,000 to $158,000 annually, with incentive opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Education

California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license

Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA

Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)

Current BLS

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
