The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of the authorized user and operates radioisotope detector equipment to produce photoscans of designated areas of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. In Cardiology Services, the Technologist serves adult and geriatric patients.

  1. Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or registry eligible for an appropriate certification examination through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  2. Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  3. Registered as a CT Technologist for sites with PET/CT within one (1) year of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, AND registered as a CT Technologist through the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
