Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Graduate or Experienced

Lumus Imaging are currently looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, either a New Graduate or an Experienced Technician, to join our young friendly professional team working in our medical imaging departments at the new Northern Private Hospital, and already established Epping Consulting Centre based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs. Successful applicants will be provided with the necessary training for them to be able to perform all required examinations. Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor you will be working closely with the radiologists across both sites which contain Nuclear Medicine and P.E.T departments respectively and operate between the hours of 7:30 - 5 on weekdays only. There is no on call requirements.

This is a great opportunity to be involved with our expansion and get yourself into a full time role with our very experienced, close knit Nuclear Medicine team.

To be successful:

  • Commitment to the provision and promotion of quality health care within the confines of a multi-camera private practice setting
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel.
  • A recognised qualification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Experience in PET/CT and SPECT, with a knowledge of GE imaging platforms being an advantage.
  • Licence for performing diagnostic CT would be advantageous.
  • AHPRA registration
