Description

The ideal candidate will be proficient in general nuclear medicine, PET/CT (CT registry not required), and radiotherapeutics.

  • Provides quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, assuming responsibility for direct quality care during Nuclear Medicine and PET exams.
  • Responsible for proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment and staying updated on medical device uses.
  • Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
  • Assists with patient and family education.
  • Performs efficiently in emergency situations.
  • Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures.
  • Acquires, processes, and photographs exams for diagnostic interpretation.
  • May support or assist in research activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology, registered with ARRT or NMTCB.
  • Minimum of two years of experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification as per American Heart Association requirements.
