Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, including PET/CT, and ensure high-quality images with accurate documentation.

The role requires graduation from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine and active ARRT CNMT certification (or CNMT) with ARRT(N) and/or CNMT. Licenses with the Arkansas Department of Health are required and CPR certification is mandatory.

Job description

The Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, including PET/CT, and attends to the safety, mental, and physical needs of patients. They ensure the production of high-quality images for interpretation and completes proper documentation.

Other information:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine.
• Certification eligible upon date of hire. Must be certified within one year of hire.
• Have and maintain Arkansas Department of Health Temporary Nuclear MedicineLicense until permanent license is applicable.
• Required to have and maintain current certification with the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(N) and/or Nuclear Medicine TechnologyCertification Board in Nuclear Medicine (CNMT).
• Have and maintain current Arkansas Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License.
• If performing PET/CT, certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists inRadiography (ARRT)(R), Computed Tomography (ARRT)(CT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board in Computed Tomography (CNMT)(CT) is required within 2 years of applying for a temporary PET/CT license with the Arkansas Department ofHealth.
• In performing PET/CT, technologists must have and maintain an additional license withthe Arkansas Department of Health. This can either be an Arkansas Department ofHealth Radiologic Technologist License, Arkansas Department of Health PET/CTLicense or a Temporary Arkansas Department of Health PET/CT License.
• Must have and maintain current CPR (American Heart Association-Basic Life Supportfor Healthcare Providers)

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
