Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures, PET, and theranostics under Radiologist supervision, following established protocols. You will work with ambulatory and hospital patients, ensuring imaging quality, safety, and proper radiopharmaceutical handling while collaborating with Radiologists and nursing staff.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited program, less than 1 year of experience, BLS, MRT licensure

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Certification/Registration: BLS; MRT license; ARRT(N) or CNMT per Texas requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures per physician orders.
• Maintain QC/QA on imaging equipment and ensure RAM/ACR compliance.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring HIPAA-compliant communication.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, nursing staff and technologists to optimize exams.
• Ensure safe radiation practices and proper radiopharmaceutical handling.
• Transfer images to PACS for interpretation.
