Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Plano is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under Radiologist supervision for ambulatory and hospital patients. The role supports a fast-paced Radiology unit and emphasizes safety, quality control, and patient care.

The position is part-time, with eight-hour shifts and flexible on-call; prior hospital Nuclear Medicine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prefers a minimum of 1 year hospital Nuclear Medicine experience.
• ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N) / CNMT certification required or preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Radiology department.
• On-call availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control.
• Communicate with patients to identify service needs and explain procedures.
• Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals and educate patients on safety.
• Assist in transfer of patient images to BSWH PACS for review and dictation by physician partners.
