Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the College Station Medical Center. The PRN position requires on‑call availability for nuclear medicine duties, performing NM, PET, and theranostic procedures under a radiologist’s supervision.

Responsibilities include quality assurance, patient communication, and adherence to safety protocols while collaborating with care teams to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program.
• ARRT‑N Nuclear Medicine certification; CNMT preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Maintains quality control and imaging standards, coordinating with engineers and physics staff.
• Communicates with patients and families to explain exams and ensure comfort; maintains HIPAA compliance.
• Safely administers radiopharmaceuticals and adheres to radiation safety rules.
• Collaborates with nursing, medical staff, and radiologists to ensure accurate image transfer to PACS and dictation.
