Valley Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem coverage in our Nuclear Medicine department. The role involves performing complex imaging and non-imaging tests on patients from neonatal to geriatric, with professional judgment and collaboration with physicians and staff.
The role requires ARRT (N) and/or ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification, or completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program. AHA certification prior to orientation is required.

Per Diem
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of complex imaging and non-imaging tests on patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric, which require professional judgment and interaction with patients, physicians, and other allied health care professionals. He/she is able to work independently although technical supervision assistance is always available. Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine, Positron Imaging, radiation safety and the ability to evaluate the results along with the ability to determine the need for concomitant or additional studies is required.
ARRT (N), ARRT(R), or NMTCB certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required *
Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development and competence in providing Nuclear Medicine services for patients of all ages including neonate, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
