Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM Tech) to perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under radiologist supervision for ambulatory and hospital patients.

The role requires on‑call availability, strict adherence to safety protocols, and effective collaboration with radiologists, nursing staff, and the BSWH PACS/dictation workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program and ARRT/CNMT certification.
• ARRT‑N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT‑N) certification.
• CNMT certification.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• MRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain quality control and ensure imaging adheres to standards.
• Instruct and communicate with patients and their families about tests.
• Follow radiation safety rules and dispose of materials per protocol.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other teams; ensure image transfer to BSWH PACS.
