Job summary
St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time, day shift position in the Capital Region. You will perform Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT and PET/CT exams, participate in quality control, and contribute to patient safety and care throughout the imaging department.
Ideal candidates hold an AAS in Nuclear Medicine or health-related field, state licensure, and ARRT CNMT or equivalent certification. Growth opportunities and tuition support highlighted.
Qualifications
- AAS in health related field and certificate program or AAS in Nuclear Medicine.
- Current ARRT/N or CNMT certification.
- Current NYS Radiologic license and ARRT/R or ARRT/CT certification.
- Current NYS Nuclear Medicine license.
Responsibilities
- Perform all Nuclear Medicine procedures, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT, per department standards.
- Participate in the department’s quality control program.
- Assure proper doses and radionuclides are ordered daily.
- Assay dose to ensure radionuclide correctness.
- Administer radionuclide and contrast safely.
- Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to issues.
- Guide patients through procedures and address questions.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Cross-train and perform PET/CT exams if instructed.
