Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to perform advanced nuclear medicine exams including SPECT/CT and PET/CT. The role requires proactive problem solving and data analysis to ensure quality care within a teaching hospital environment.

The position rotates between three sites with on-call responsibility and offers a sign-on bonus eligible up to $20,000. A valid MA Rad Tech-Nuclr Med license and ARRT(N) or NMTCB CNMT certification are required or must be obtained

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology; Bachelor's preferred.
• License MA Rad Tech-Nuclr Med required and ARRT(N) or NMTCB CNMT certification.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.
• Must obtain certification/registration within 1 year of employment; RAML-NM license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine diagnostic exams including SPECT/CT and PET/CT.
• Participates in therapy procedures and understands QA for equipment.
• Performs routine QA procedures on instrumentation and communicates issues to supervisor.
• Participates in training of radiology residents and nuclear medicine students.
