Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform NM, SPECT/CT and PET/CT procedures under supervision. You will prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment and uphold radiation safety with QC tasks.

The role requires CA NMT, ARRT or NMTCB CNMT, CT certification, AHA BLS, and strong customer service. On-call, shifts variable, 8/40 AWS hours, with generous signing and relocation incentives.

Qualifications

Formal training in Nuclear Medicine technology meeting California and/or Federal requirements.
BLS Healthcare Professional certification required.
State certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or NMTCB CNMT required.
ARRT NMT and CT certifications or NMTCB equivalents required.
Proficiency with RIS, PACS and radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform NM, SPECT, SPECT-CT and PET/CT procedures under supervision.
Prepare and position patients and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
Maintain radiation safety practices and complete quality control procedures.
Provide patient education and ensure proper documentation and billing.
