Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform exams, ensure patient safety, and provide high-quality imaging services per department protocols. You will set up equipment, position patients, and ensure accurate identification and labeling for diagnostic studies.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Technology certification (or Nuclear Med Tech) and either current BLS or BLS Instructor credentials, with at least one year of relevant clinical experience.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting caring for patients (may include rotations).
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification required upon hire unless stated otherwise.
• BLS - Instructor certification required.

Mansioni

• Adjust technique to obtain best study while maintaining image quality.
• Ensure proper patient identification and right/left markers are used.
• Prepare and position patient; set up equipment for imaging procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance.
• Complete documentation concisely and clearly; follow infection control policies.
• Support other technologists and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort and uphold dignity during exams.
• Transport patients and assist with charting and routine departmental duties.
