Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a full range of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

You will collaborate with the radiology team to plan and execute studies, while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols and meeting department standards. Qualifications include an accredited medical imaging program and state license requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current or temporary Nuclear Medicine license as required by state board where services will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Attends departmental meetings and activities to support quality improvement.
• Performs full range of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging and/or therapy procedures.
• Plans and performs imaging to meet department quality standards.
• Minimizes radiation exposure to patients and staff according to policy and guidelines.
• Reports equipment failures promptly to ensure continued radiology services.
• Assesses patient comfort and supports care as needed.
• Instructs clinically and/or didactically per program standards.
