Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years of nuclear medicine procedure experience.
• 2-4 years preferred in an acute care hospital setting.

Aufgaben

• Performs nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapies per physician orders to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals intravenously or orally in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Operates and calibrates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to ensure optimal image acquisition and quality control.
• Maintains documentation for NRC or state regulatory compliance and safety records.
• Ensures proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials per safety protocols.
• Collaborates with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
• Documents procedures and patient interactions in the EMR.
