WVU Medicine Berkeley and Jefferson Medical Centers is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and therapy procedures with emphasis on patient safety and quality outcomes.

You will work under established protocols, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians and technologists to optimize imaging results and patient care. Certification in ARRT/NMTCB is required within six months of hire; BLS within 30 days; state background checks will apply.

Formación

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current or temporary Nuclear Medicine license as required by state board where services will be provided.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• State and federal background checks as required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a full range of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging and/or treatment procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
• Plans imaging procedures to meet department quality standards.
• Reports equipment failures promptly to ensure radiology service continuity.
• Interact with patients and staff to support comfort and care.
