Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. in Lexington, KY is seeking a PET/Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the first shift. This full-time role supports Diagnostic and Imaging Services with radiopharmaceutical imaging to aid cardiac MPI studies.

The incumbent will produce and verify quality images, document in the EHR, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure patient safety and accurate results. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Education program in Nuclear Medicine completed.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging license required.
• Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required; PET cert recommended after 700 hours.
• BLS certification required; obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nuclear medicine imaging using radiopharmaceuticals for MPI and related studies.
• Produce quality images for radiologist interpretation.
• Prepare accurate records in EHR and verify PACS archiving.
• Send images to tele-radiology after hours as needed.
• Maintain imaging protocols with NM Coordinator and Radiologist.
• Improve team performance using new technology.
